Restore and enhance these two black and white and color images with uniform precision. 

First, restore the backgrounds: In the black and white portrait, remove all white dust spots and chemical fading from the gradient backdrop, ensuring a smooth, high-fidelity texture. In the color photo, sharpen the vertical lines of the curtains and the wall textures behind the subject, removing all digital noise and blur. The background must be as sharp as the subject.

Second, restore foreground elements: In the color image, focus heavily on the birthday cake and the "65" sign. Reconstruct the Cyrillic text, the stars, and the decorative chocolate elements with crisp, high-resolution edges. Ensure the hand holding the cake is perfectly sharp. 

Third, restore clothing textures: For the black and white photo, recover the micro-details of the zippered collar and fabric grain, removing the white spots. In the color photo, sharpen the grey blazer’s weave and the rhythmic blue and white stripes of the polo shirt. Both must exhibit maximum tactile detail.

Fourth, repair edges and corners: Eliminate all white specks and artifacts along the bottom and side borders of the black and white image. Ensure the light transition in the corners of both photos is clean and consistent with the central lighting.

Fifth, faces: Remove the dark spots on the nose and cheek of the young man in the black and white photo. Sharpen the facial features and hair of the older man in the color photo while keeping natural skin texture.
